Philiris siassi Sands, 1979.

Type locality: Papua New Guinea, Morobe Province.

Holotype: ♂ ANIC 3289: "PAPUA NEW GUINEA, Siassi, Umboi Is., Morobe Prov. 30.Nov.1974, 300m., D.P. Sands". Genit. slide No. M507.
