- NOTE: treated as a synonym of L. arrowi
by Gentili (1981), but deliberately treated again as valid by Gentili (1997: 307–308)
- NOTE: treated as a synonym of L. arrowi
- Primary type: holotype
- Type locality: 'Waipuwerawera Stream, Taupo'
- ?Secondary types: 2 adults and 2 larvae listed as 'other material' and 'material examined' [of larvae] respectively, and not designated as paratypes
- Subgeneric placement: as subgenus unknown by Gentili (1997: 307)
- Original status: valid species
