Type locality: Indonesia, East Nusa Tenggara Prov., Flores Isl., Ruteng, Danau Ranamese, sample 6, S08°38.370', E120°33.798', 1215 m.
Holotype: BZM ARC2211 (EMBL # LM655667), ♂, 11-III-2011.
Etymology: This epithet is based on a combination of the Latin adjective fissus (cleft) and the Greek noun tarsos and refers to the shape of the protarsi.
