Type locality: New Zealand, Mid Canterbury [MC], Christchurch Botanic Gardens, 43°31.8'S, 172°37.2'E.

Holotype: NZAC. male ♂. 21.IV.2014. legit R.J.B. Hoare, B.H. Patrick.
