Type locality: Papua New Guinea, Central District, Subitana.

Holotype: ♂ ANIC: "NEW GUINEA, Subitana (Central District) 1800ft. August 3, 1949, Wm. Brandt & E.J.L Hallstrom"; ANIC Reg. No. 3300, genit slide No. M520.
