- Type locality: PERU: Loreto, 100 m, Picuroyacu.
- Holotype: KSEM, ♂, 3.VI.2005, on regrowth of Polypore in secondary forest, R. Westerduijn.
- Etymology: The name of this new species means "very insidious".
