- Type locality: PAPUA NEW GUINEA: Irian Jaya: Jayawijaya, Bommela Bomela: 138°05′E, ~4°39′S. ca. 1750 m.
- Holotype: SMNS, ♂, 30.VIII.–1.IX.1992, leg. A. RIEDEL.
- Etymology: The male had naturally everted, erect genitalia to which the Latin adjectival name alludes.
