- Type locality: CANADA: Saskatchewan, Larson Ranch, Hwy 21, 16 km S Maple Creek.
- Holotype: LFC, ♂, 22-IV-2012, D. Larson.
- Etymology: Derived from Latin feminine adjective domestica-, meaning domestic, in reference to the capture of the type specimens in the vicinity of the farmstead.
