  • Type locality: South Africa, Eastern Cape Province, Hogsback, 32°35'S, 26°56–57'E.
  • Holotype: DNMNH, ♂, 5–7.xii.2006, forest litter, sifting, J. Janák leg.
  • Etymology: This species is named after the type locality: Hogsback (sus = hog and dorsum = back).
