- Type locality: COSTA RICA: Prov. Puntarenas, ACO, Golfito, PN Corcovado, Est. Agujas, Cerro Rincon, 745m.
- Etymology: The specific name is in reference to the bicolored antennae, head, metasomal terga and stigma.
