人名
分类群页面的名称章节应包含该类群的命名人， 并应適當地链入命名人的條目。 为維護维基物种上的條目簡潔，请确保维基数据上有相应的项目。
应为每位共同命名人分别填写一个类别，因為易讀性的原因，最好分行填写。 对X、Y和Z三位共同命名人，其方法应该是：

由于技术原因，在半角冒号后不应加空格。请注意，只要包含这些类别在分类群页面中，并且始终位于页面的最下方。
命名人页面的格式
Author pages should include the following subsections, in the same order as shown below. (It's okay to leave out a subsection if it would otherwise be left empty, for example if an author hasn't named any taxa, or has no eponymous taxon names coined after him.)
起始信息
第一行应包括作者姓名（粗体）、出生年份（及去世年份，可加入具体日期）、国籍、学科。
第二行以粗体列出命名人名称缩写（如果有的话）。

不多也不少。「以命名人命名的分类群名称」部分不应包含以命名人命名的所有分类群的内联列表。这样做的原因是，有些命名人命名了数百甚至数千个分类群。如果直接在命名人页面上列出所有分类群，会使信息杂乱无章，使页面难以阅读以及管理。相反，上述代码会自动添加一个链接，指向列出该命名人所有分类群名称的类别。此外，将分类群页面合并到命名人特定类别中也有助于搜索。
List of eponyms
This section shows information automatically fetched from categories such as [[Category:Eponyms of X]] (though the letter "X" should be replaced by the name of the person after whom the taxon is named). This is done by adding the {{Eponyms}} template, in the following way:

Nothing more, nothing less. The "Eponyms" section should not include an inline list of taxa named after a person. Instead the above code will automatically add a link to the correct category, which in turn lists all of the eponyms of that particular person.
