- Type locality: AUSTRALIA: NSW, Willowvale.
- Holotype: AM, ♂, XII. 1979, coll. Austr. Mus. & TTM, N° 1623.
- Etymology: The new species takes its name from “smallest” for its body size being the smallest of all species examined.
