• Holotype: ZSM 1798/2008 (field number ZCMV 7103), adult ♂, collected by P. Bora on 22 January 2008.
• Type locality: “a site called Mariavaratra in Ranomafana National Park, southeastern Madagascar. Geographical coordinates of the precise collecting site are not available, but Mariavaratra is located approximately at 21.261° S, 47.419° E”.
