Name[edit]

Type locality: TURKEY: (Van), 30 km N [of] Baskale, 2700 m.

Holotype: RMNH, ♀, 11.vii.1987, R. Hensen.
Etymology: Named “aciculatum”, because of the very finely aciculate frons and vertex.
