- Syntype: BMNH 1946.1.15.87 (form. MAS 2143), ♂ collected by M.A.Smith and C.B.Kloss, March-May 1917.
- Syntype: BMNH 1946.1.15.88 (form. MAS 2145), ♂ (same collection data as previous specimen).
- Syntype: BMNH 1965.1 (form. MAS 2144), ♀ (same collection data as previous specimen).
- Type locality: “at Dalat and Camly at 1500 metres, on the Langbian Plateau, southern Annam (Indo-China)” = Da Lat (11°56'N, 108°28'E, 1485 m) and Cam Ly (12°01'N, 108°30'E, 1500 m) Lam Dong Province, S.Vietnam (restricted to Da Lat, S.Vietnam fide Orlov et al., 2003).
