Type locality: Ecuador, Esmeraldas, San Francisco ridge, km 17 San Lorenzo-Lita rd., 1º60.43'N, 78º41.92'W, 150 m.

Holotype: USNM. male ♂. 2.XI.2003. K.R. Willmott.
