Edaphus variipennis Puthz, 2014: 804, figs. 20-22, 47

  • Type locality: VENEZUELA: Aragua, Rancho Grande Biological Station, "La Cumbre", 1450m, 10°21’N, 67°41’W, berlese leaf litter.
  • Holotype: KSEM, ♂, 28.II.1995, R. Brooks #020.
  • Etymology: Because of two different shapes of elytra I name this species "variipennis" (Lat. = with different shapes of elytra).
