Notes

[edit]
  • New Zealand material (C. helmsii s.str.) is diploid (2n=14), Australian material is hexaploid (2n=42). If Australian specimens are to be distinguished, they will require a new name, as the names based on Australian types are later homonyms of other taxa in the genus.
