Holotype: IOZ, ♂.
Type locality: China, W Yunnan, NE Fugong, 26°57'09"N, 98°54'00"E – 26°56'30"N, 98°55'14"E, 2160–2690 m, 29.V.2006, I. Belousov & I. Kabak leg.
Etymology: The specific epithet refers to the asetose sides of the pronotum in members of this species.
