Chrysina rutelidedundeei Soula, 2012 (Unavailable)*
Chrysina rutelidundeei Soula, 2012 (misspelling)

  • Both of these publications violate ICZN Article 16.4.2. - "where the holotype or syntypes are extant specimens, by a statement of intent that they will be (or are) deposited in a collection and a statement indicating the name and location of that collection" - both papers say only that the type is in "Coll. Soula" (i.e., the author's private collection), and even if one accepts this as representing the name of the collection, there is no indication in either publication of the location of the author's private collection. The Code requires that this information be present in the work itself; it does not matter if it is possible, by research, to independently determine the location (e.g., by contacting Soula's surviving relatives).
