- Type locality: GREECE: Crete [17], Psiloritis, SW Anogia, Mygerou Refuge, 1670 m, 35°14′11″N, 24°46′55″E.
- Holotype: Volker Assing private collection, ♂, 13.IV.2014, V. ASSING.
- Etymology: The specific epithet is an adjective derived from Ida, the name of the highest mountain in the Psiloritis range.
