- Type locality: Honduras. Copán: Montaña Los Zapotes, mountain W of Los Zapotes, 18 km N of Copán ruinas on road to Agua Caliente from Copan ruinas and 2–3 km W of Los Zapotes school, 950–1050 m, 14°58′N, 89°10′W.
