- Type genus: Alsine L. Sp. Pl. 1: 272. (1753). Genus dismantled across a number of genera, type species Alsine media L. (1753) is a synonym of Stellaria media (L.) Vill. (1789) an accepted species of Stellaria L. Sp. Pl. 1: 421. (1753).
