Acroteriobatus leucospilus (Norman, 1926)

  • Syntypes: (2) BMNH 1905.6.8.12 (1), 1920.7.23.1 (1).

Type locality: Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, southwestern Indian Ocean.

Etymology: leukos (= white); spilos (= spot), referring to blue-gray spots on snout and pectoral fins. (From The ETYFish project)
