Note: Originally placed in the family Ophicanthidae later considered in Hemieuryalidae (H.L. Clark (1915)) and then in Ophiomyxidae [Ophiobyrsinae] (Matsumoto (1915)), the genus was transfered to Asteronychidae by Downey (1967).
