Name[edit]

Xenuromys barbatus (Milne-Edwards, 1900)

  • Holotype: MNHN-ZM-MO-1900-398, ♂, mounted skin and skull, presented by Mantou.
  • Type locality: “provient de la Nouvelle-Guineé anglaise. ... dans la partie haute du bassin de la rivière Aroa, à une altitude de 3,ooo à 7,000 pieds”.
