Name[edit]

Holotype: FMNH 154040, adult ♂, skin, skull and postcranial skeleton.

Type locality: “Madagascar, provinde d'Antsiranana, Réserve Spéciale d'Anjanaharibe-Sud, 12.2 km WSW Befingitra, 1950 m; 14º44.8′S, 49º26.0′E.”
