- Welcome Princess Harry. Wikispecies is an online taxonomy directory collecting data regarding the taxonomy, biological systematics, and the nomenclature codes of all life forms on Earth. In short it is a collection of data featuring biological classifications about all different species on Earth, and how these species are related to each other. It should only contain scientific information specifically related to taxonomy within the field of biology – all other data will be deleted. Hence Wikispecies is a much more specialised wiki than almost all other wikis, for instance Wikipedia. Please see What Wikispecies is not for more information about that.
