Welcome to Wikispecies!

Hello, and welcome to Wikispecies! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

If you have named a taxon, then it is likely that there is (or will be) a Wikispecies page about you, and other pages about your published papers. Please see our advice and guidance for taxon authors.

If you have useful images to contribute to Wikispecies, please upload them at Wikimedia Commons. This is also true for video or audio files containing bird songs, whale vocalization, etc.

Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username (if you're logged in) and the date. Please also read the Wikispecies policy What Wikispecies is not. If you need help, ask me on my talk page, or in the Village Pump. Again, welcome! –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 10:48, 15 November 2018 (UTC). [reply]

Flow talk page manager[edit]

Regarding this, please note that the underlaying feature is a beta feature set in your user preferences. It was originally named "Flow" and "Flow talk page" but the feature is nowadays called "Structured Discussions on user talk". Since it is still in beta version it is not yet fully tested and may occasionally behave in a somewhat inconsistent manner. The feature itself is activated by the user (i.e. you :) in the user prefs settings. It is run by a fully automated bot, normally without any hands-on human interaction, and changes a lot about how your user talk page works (and is archived). More information about it can be found via the links next to its user prefs settings (linked above).

Contributing[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to date, except for adding stub to all and sundry. Sorry it would be better to get rid of this tag by adding data. In addition, some taxa will always be a bit thin, but as long as the taxonomically important information is present, plus two or three references then they will be OK for now, Best Regards. To be helpful. You added stub to Psilanthus I have added a key reference (Davis et al., 2011) to Coffeeae that will help you edit a whole group of taxa related to Psilanthus, which is now accepted as a synonym for Coffea. Contact me on my talk page, if needed and thanking you in anticipation. Andyboorman (talk) 14:33, 15 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
