Controversial edits[edit]

You are making controversial edits as an anonymous/unregistered contributor. This is not acceptable. The Iris problem has been discussed on the Village Pump here and the consensus is to maintain the status quo with Iris s.l.. I suggest that you either create a user account and contribute to the discussions or desist. In addition, you can, as a registered user, happily create taxon pages for all the numerous Iris segregates proposed by Crespo et al., which would probably best tagged as disputed for now. However, the current, all be it incomplete, positions with Iris s.l. has to be kept - you should not unduly interfere with these pages by for example removing accepted synonyms! In addition, I must repeat that constant taxon page edit wars, particularly as an anonymous user, is not acceptable. Andyboorman (talk) 09:34, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Questionable contributions[edit]

Welcome to Wikispecies. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to this encyclopedia, all of your so far 8 edits appear to have been unconstructive and has therefore been reverted. Also, please observe that edits such as this one violates our editing policy and further such endeavours may get you blocked from editing. In other words: comment on content, not on the contributor(s). Please read Help:Contents and the help pages listed there for information regarding Wikispecies' preferred format and our requirements for verifiable references and citations. Lastly and as Andyboorman suggests above, while not at all mandatory I advice you to create a user account if you plan on adding any more material. Thank you. –Tommy Kronkvist (talk), 14:44, 18 September 2017 (UTC).[reply]

This is the discussion page for an anonymous user who has not created an account yet or who does not use it. We therefore have to use the numerical IP address to identify him/her. Such an IP address can be shared by several users. If you are an anonymous user and feel that irrelevant comments have been directed at you, please create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other anonymous users.
