Holotype: BMNH 99.9.9.27, adult ♂, skin and skull.
Type locality: “Porvenir, Bolivar, Ecuador, altitude 1800 m.”

Holotype: ANSP 19709, adult ♂, skin and skull.
Type locality: “Mt. Pirre, [Darién Prov.,] eastern Panama, at an altitude of 4700 feet along the Rio Limón.”
