- Syntypes (2): BMNH 1947.2.8.39 (formerly 1903.4.29.74) and 1947.2.8.40 (formerly 1903.7.2.27).
- Type locality: “Man-son Mountains, Tonkin, altitude 3000-4000 feet”, northern Vietnam.
