[edit]Holotype: MUSM 228, partial skeleton including the skull, mandible, and most of the postcranial skeleton.
Type locality and horizon: “Aguada de Lomas, Sacaco Area, Arequipa Department, Peru. Pisco Formation, AGL vertebrate horizon, Huayquerian, ca. 8 Ma.”
