Status

Although the tribe has long been split in three subtribes (Senecionineae, Tussilaginae and Blennospermatinae), recent research (Pelser et al., 2007) has confirmed that much of this accepted classification is incorrect. A fuller revision incorporating these findings and providing a better circumscription for Senecio and related segregates has yet to be done. Circeus (talk) 02:42, 18 April 2010 (UTC)
