• Holotype: USNM 39721, collected by South East Pacific Biological Océanographie Programme (SEPBOP) "Anton Bruun" 18B-791C on 21 September 1966.
• Type locality: “off Seymour Isl., N coast Indefatigable Isl., 00°26'S 90°20'W, 95 m”.
