Excluded names
  • Solanum fuscatum L. (1762:268), nom. rej.
    • For a long time, this was considered the correct name for S. rigidum. However, confusion as to its geographical origins and application lead to it being proposed (Knapp, 2011) and accepted (Applequist, 2012) for rejection.
