Holotype: FLMNH 73946, near complete cranium with all teeth in place plus a matched pair of mandible with DP4-M3 in place on both side.

Type locality: “17 km W of Camp Perrin in Trouing Jérémie #5, (elevation 1275 m, latitude 18°20'N, longitude 74°03'W)”, Département du Sud, Haiti.
