Name[edit]

Holotype: ROM 104396, adult ♂, skin, skull and partial skeleton, collected by F.A. Reid and F. Sornoza (field number F37227), on 8 May 1995.

Type locality: “66 km S of Pompeya Sur (00º48’S, 76º24’W), Orellana Province, Ecuador”.
