Name

Perafrotydeus meyerae (Baker, 1970)

• Type locality: ex citrus, Matuga (Kenya).
• Holotype: BMNH, TN in pupation.

Synonymy

• Tydeus (Afrotydeus) meyerae, original combination
• Perafrotydeus meyerae, subsequent combination proposed by André (1980: 142) and used by Silva et al. (2016: 33)

Notes

• The holotype is a tritonymph in pupation and not a female as stated in the description by Baker (1970: 165).
• Redescribed by André (1980: 142).
• Type species of the genus Perafrotydeus.
