• Typus: A.G. Bagshawe 594 (in flower, [9] March [1904]; Holotypus: BM [cf. BM000903175^(JSTOR), 'Type']).
• Type locality: Uganda. Wema[Bwema] Island, Lake Victoria Nyanza.
