Ophiopristis Verrill, 1899

Type species: Ophiacantha hirsuta Lyman, 1875, by original designation.

Note: Synonymised by H.L. Clark (1911: 195; 1915: 214–215) with Ophiacantha Müller & Troschel, 1842, re-established as a subgenus by Koehler (1914: 73, 96) and re-established as a genus by Paterson (1985: 53).
