• Typus: K. Meekiong 1004 (18 August 2004; Holotypus: SAR; Isotypus: 'HUMS' [= Herbarium of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak]).
• Type locality: Malaysia. Sarawak: Samarahan, UNIMAS new campus site, on road side, 01°28.12' N, 110°26.43' E, alt. 33 m.
