  • Type locality: Neds Beach, Lord Howe Island, Australia.
  • Holotype: 10 Dec. 1978; rather frequent in algal turfs on the crests and edges of low bommies seaweard of the S reef flat, 6-9 m depth; MELU; A39755 (Fig. 36F) / LHI-9665.
