- Holotype: V/M/ERS/682, adult ♂, body in alcohol with skull and baculum removed, collected by Uttam Saikia on 1 July 2020.
- Type locality: “Forest at Lailad, adjacent to Nongkhyllem Wildlife Sanctuary, in Ri-Bhoi district of Meghalaya, India (25°56’13” N, 91°46’24” E, 210 m a.s.l.)”.
