• Note: synonymized with C. fuscopilosa Teschner by Kostermans (1968), but accepted by de Kok (2021).
• Type: R. Kanehira & S. Hatusima 12279 (in fruit, 3 March 1940; Isotypes: A 00041407^{(GBIF, JSTOR)}, TI 02473).
• Type locality: [Indonesia.] New Guinea: Nabire, Dallmann, in Agathis-forests at about 600 m. altitude.
