Syntypes (2): ANSP two heads. [lost fide Stejneger (1895: 458)]

Type locality: “Presidio del Norte and Eagle Pass”, restricted to “Presidio (del Norte), Presidio County, Texas” by Smith & Taylor (1950: 362).
