Note: Subspecies revised in Schileyko & Stagl, 2014 concluding that C. w. nubigenus Lawrence, 1955 and C. w. huttoni Pocock, 1893: 128 has insufficient evidence to treat them as formal synonyms (although recognising both are treated as a synonyms in Koch, 1983). Also Schileyko & Stagl questions identity of Cormocephalus dispar alticursor Lawrence, 1960 (but where C. dispar Porat, 1871 was recognised as Cormocephalus westwoodi).
