Series title: Öfversigt af Kongl. Vetenskaps-Akademiens Förhandlingar

This was the publication containing the Academy's proceedings (or rather summaries of it). Kungl. Svenska vetenskapsakademiens handlingar was the academy's main, yearly journal, with longer papers. In 1903 the Bihang (supplement) series were combined with the Öfversigt in the Arkiv journals, with the proceedings relegated into a separate Yearbook ("årsbok"). The word "Kongl."/Kongliga is the most variable part in the various publications of the academy, being also found with "u", as in "Kungl."/Kungliga. ("Kunglig" means "as a king" in modern Swedish, i.e. "royal". "Konglig" is an older spelling of the same word.)
