• Holotype: NIO 1002 (field reference MGB 35), collected by S. Mote on 20 November 2016.
• Type locality: “Grande Island near Goa, and Malvan Marine Sanctuary, West India, 15º21'14.2"N, 73º45'57.8"E, 8 m”.
