Type locality: W. Africa, São Tomé and Príncipe ["St. Thomas Is."] St. Nicolau.

Note: Balint, 1999: 46 suggests that C. sanctithomae may be a junior subjective synonym of Chilades naidina, but has not made a formal synonymy.
